Harry Kessell
Harry Kessell first started singing at the tender age of 4 when his dad, Mike Kessell got him up to sing at a session at Sidmouth Folk Festival – from that moment he was hooked!
With a rich baritone voice and superb concertina and bouzouki skills his inspiration very much comes from being surrounded by and listening to traditional singers from a very early age such as Jinx’s Stack, The Wilson Family and Kimbers Men.
Harry is available as a solo artist, as part of vocal harmony trio ‘Kessenyan’ and with a new up and coming band ‘Woodkern’, featuring Harry & Olly Kessell: Multi instrumental / Vocals, Ruby Gillson: Bodhran / Vocals, Lily Lakeman: Keyboard / Vocals, Karenza Lily-May: Accordian / Vocals, Eva Reid: Fiddle & Max Morrison: Whistles / Pipes.
